Chand Das - SBU Chief Executive
Chand Das is the Chief Executive of ITC's
Education & Stationery Products Business. Das, an
engineer from IIT Kanpur and an MBA from the
Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, joined
ITC in 1980. In his 32-year management career
with the Company, he has held multiple positions
in Marketing, Business Development & General
Management.
Chand is a director of ATC Ltd. and a member of
the Pan-IIT Alumni India Board. He is a life
member of the All India Management Association
and also a life member of the NGO - SOS
Children's Villages of India.
Nripendranath Thakur - Head - Sales & Marketing
Nripendranath Thakur is Head, Sales & Marketing, Education & Stationery Products Business. He started his career with ITC in 1987 in the tobacco division where he handled multiple responsibilities in sales and supply-chain functions. In 2003, he was appointed as the National Sales Manager for the erstwhile Greeting Card Business and later took over as the Head of Sales & Marketing. In 2005, when the business transformed into the Education & Stationery Products Business, he was instrumental in setting up the distribution system and played a crucial role in developing 'Classmate' as the leading Notebook Brand in the country.

E Nandakumar - Head - Operations
E Nandakumar is Head of Operations, Education & Stationery Products Strategic Business Unit. An Alumnus of IIT Madras & XLRI, he joined ITC's Packaging and Printing Division in 1988. His prior work experience includes two years at Union Carbide as a Trainee Engineer.
At ITC's Packaging and Printing Business, Nandakumar started his career in Marketing and held responsibilities in Sales, Process Re-engineering, Operations, New Product Introduction and Human Resources before taking over as the Head of Domestic External Business in 2003. In 2006, he moved to the Paperboards & Specialty Papers Business as Head of Operations, Unit Tribeni, where he led the Change Management initiative and TPM implementation. In January 2013, he moved to the Education & Stationery Business to take charge as Head of Operations.
Samip Baruah - Head - Supply Chain & Logistics
Dr Samip Baruah is Head of Supply Chain & Logistics, Education and Stationery Products Business. He is a PhD in Supply Chain & Logistics from Dibrugarh University apart from being a Computer Science Engineer & an MBA. Dr Baruah joined ITC Limited in 2001. Prior to joining ITC, he spent three years with Amul.
In ITC, he has handled several Sales & Distribution positions including Regional Sales Manager (East ) for Modern Trade and has been the Branch Manager, North Eastern Region based out of Kolkata and Guwahati, respectively. Dr Baruah joined the Supply Chain Function of the Education and Stationery Products Business in June 2013.
