ITC Infotech Successfully Completes Major PLM Project for DRDO Lab

ITC Infotech successfully implements Project Lifecycle Management (PLM) for the Combat Vehicle Research and Development Establishment (CVRDE), a premium systems laboratory of the Defence Research & Development Organization (DRDO), and will support it over the next three years.
ITC Infotech, a leading global IT services and solutions company, and a fully owned subsidiary of ITC Ltd., has successfully completed the implementation of PLM for Combat Vehicles Research and Development Establishment (CVRDE), a key division of DRDO for the development of combat vehicles and derivatives along with aircraft subsystems.
The CVRDE PLM implementation is the largest PLM project for DRDO laboratory in India with a user base of over 200. The project was implemented by a team of experts from ITC Infotech, within 12 months. The PLM implementation project involved interactions with 25 different divisions within CVRDE and designing and deploying a harmonious new product development process across CVRDE, starting from design, development, modelling, quality assurance, prototypes and incorporation of feed backs from different agencies.
