ITC bags FICCI Award - The Hindu

ITC Limited bagged the FICCI's "Best FOOD 360" award. The award was presented to successful entrepreneurs by Assembly Speaker Nadendla Manohar in recognition of excellence at the FICCI's FOOD 360 - International Conference cum- Exhibition on Agribusiness and Food held at HICC.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Nadendla Manohar said the government should encourage Food Processing Industry and there is a need for the government to adopt a handholding policy to ensure the growth of this sector. Food processing sector is a tremendous area with great opportunities. The Vision 2015 from the Ministry of Food Processing will go a long way in encouraging this sector, he added. The award winners are Best Food 360 Company - ITC Limited, High Socio Economic Impact Award - Nuziveedu Seeds Private Limited and Best Start Up Winner - Nu- Zen Herbals Private Limited, said a press release.
